I also love Car Boot sales. Have not been recently, but last time I went I got a brand new kiddies table place settings for four. Dinner plate, Tea plate, Cereal bowl, mug, egg cup, mini teapot salt and pepper and serviettes. Each place setting in different colours with funny faces on them. I bartered and got them reduced from £10 to £5. I have done two Car Boots myself. Made £134 the first time, mainly on baby clothes etc. The second £108 on junk. Hubbies Viz books went like hot cakes, books and clothes went well also. We are due to do another one soon. I have loads of books, wicker conservatory nick knacks, and because I dont intend doing any more Wedding buffets etc, all my Stainless steel serving trays etc. I have about a hundred of the things, all taking up garage space. Bet your bottom dollar, someone will ring and ask me to do a buffet. I will be in tears. Hubby also has a massive collection of LP's. We know some are collectors items, so do not know what to ask for them. any ideas anyone. Jenny. |

oldie ? ahem, I seem to recall you're not much younger than me I like all sorts of music. Just not Craig David... he comes across as very artificial and irritating to me... |

My dad takes my neice and nephew most Sunday mornings to the local one, He gives them £1 each and follows them at 10 paces and loves to hear them 'haggle' with the sellers. Aged 6 and 8 , it is apparently hilarious to hear them say that things are ' Too much' ( or too 'spensive as nephew says) and a pound lasts them hours! dad calls it cheap entertainment. Jess |

I have only two things to say - neither very serious (no surprise there) 1. My car would not look right in booties. it's a grown up car, not a baby one. 2. Someone would have to pay ME to take away a Craig David CD |

I used to like the ones in manchester, 6am to 6pm at aerospace, there in ALL weathers, not like here around great yarmouth, one drop of rain and they're gone, spoils a carboot. |
