eyeopener to PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder)...I am sat here crying for them for the disgusting aftercare and counselling they never recieved after post operations in the warzones as the Falklands, Bosnia, and Iraq.....They are still suffering years down the line. The poor lost souls...love...Susie xx |

There are three councelling centre's in the UK which are postcode lottery....which is a damn shame....This will be my next charity fundraiser when I am resident back in the UK but probably a trek up a huge mountain....This is a very worthy cause too.....the reason for mentioning this is it needs more publicity!!! Love and bestest thoughts to you lovely's Susie xx |

My ex is now aggressive, violent ,a heavy drinker, VERY deviant in a certain department and an out and out nutter. He used to be a good bloke, a bit weak but kind and funny. He looks horrible these days too. He's only 33 but looks at least 10 years older. |

Listening to Panorama tonight it made my dad's behaviour understandable he served in the Falklands conflict and it spoilt my childhood....As on his return my mother said he was not the same man that left his family that he doted on that he left behind and upon return he becomes the most molicious violent alcholic man on the face of this planet....I am wearing my heart on my sleeve now but who cares it affects lives like a ripple in the pond it spreads further than that initial splash !!!!!If that makes sense...Plus I still love my dad I know he is inside that shell of his somewhere Love Susie xx |

He left me fairly soon after - the women after me suffered most - although he still won't get out of my life and sends death threats if he can't get his own way. He is one screwed up puppy. |

hope you dont mind me mentioning this, but i suffered from PTSD,after the paddington train crash...i was one of the first medics on scene, and something happened, that changed my life. i haven't even told my girls about it. but i suffered a long time with 'flashbacks',and although i use the train to work now,its a short journey, but a few weeks ago,i got a train to south wales, and i had butterflies in my tummy, the whole way. after the london bombings,i slept in a chair,in front of the television, afraid that the flashbacks would return, but thank god,ime back sleeping in bed. PTSD is a serious condition, and the army/mod, needs to do more to help the soldiers that risk their lives on a daily basis. bryan. |

My adopted son's birth father served in the Gulf War and now suffers this awful condition. He hasn't got in touch with Alan now for several years, so we don't know how he is. Bryan, my 15-y-o daughter wants to become a paramedic, and I guess somewhere down the line she'll be told about the possibility of PTSD. I'm sorry that you had that terrible experience, and truly hope Shauna doesn't suffer PTSD. My sympathies are with all of you that are affected by this. x |
