Are you related to lee's (gypsies) ? I know there are probably millions of gypsy families with the surname lee...but i really want to find out about my family history.... especially the lee's. I am posting this to everyone trying to find family (gypsies) with the surname lee in hope of finding some information! Heres a little bit of info that I know about my family….. My great grandmothers name was Annie lee ( gypsy) born in 1895? she fell pregnant out of wedlock to someone who was not a gypsy she was told to leave the family she did not marry the man she fell pregnant to but married my great grandfather Aurther Edward Rowley the baby was born Emily Rowley who died of diphtheria at around the age of 9yrs. they had other children who’s names were Aggie Rowley, Arthur Rowley, Albert John Rowley [my grandad] and Morreen Rowley they lived on a hill at peggies bank, Staffordshire, England. My mums name is Sandra Christine Green….she was born in 1958 in Staffordshire, England. from joeleen green
