I have also put this on tips board as I am puzzled. ordering certificates on 1837online today? I have just had two different cards rejected, both of which have nothing wrong with them. Ann Glos

yes i have had problems with card acceptance altho NOTHING wrong with my card. Found if I came out & reordered it went thro ok. I was ordering thro 1837 which redirected me to the GRO site to order I thought it was because I was doing the transaction late in the evening,but dont know really why the site has trouble with some cards.. Shirley

My friend had same problem so she changed her card to visa delta and has had no problem since

I finally got my visa accepted (I had been using two different mastercards before) By that time the despatch date had gone forward two days. Ann glos

Yep, ordered direct through the GRO site last night and had to input card 3 times before it accepted it. Never had any problems before, hope they sort it soon.
