Last time I saw the sea was last month when I was on holiday in Tunisia... here in Milton Keynes we're just about as far away from the sea as you can get in England. |

Sunday......... It was Tram Sunday in Fleetwood. Used to live in Cleveleys and saw it every day. Now live in Preston about 20 miles away so only see it when we visit family. |

Last year - a day out to Lulworth Cove in Dorset. I agree about the restorative effect of the sea. From the right shore setting, I could watch it for hours on end - but not from a boat when there's nothing else in sight. Despite my ancestry, I'd make a rotten sailor. CB >|< |

I agree that it is a great stress reliever, When I lived in Cleveleys, I often drove up by the seawall and just sat there. I always felt better afterwards. June xx |

Too long ago... last summer I suppose. I love to watch the waves roll in and crash on pebbles(love the sound too) I want to retire to the seaside ( doesn't everyone?) because at the moment the place where i lives is furthest from any point on the coast than anywhere else in Britian! The sea in Mallorca was a great stress reliever (or was that the sun, sea and sand?) The sea 10 mins from here, I'm not so sure about. |
