Oh how lovely! you must have a heart of gold! I just somehow knew you would and although the pup cant replace the loss of your other dog, I just know you wont regret it, it will bring you many happy times I am sure of that. I would have a houseful of the poor little things if my hubby would let me. Marie |

How lovely Heather - he will reward you with lots of unconditional love and as he has never known 4 feet he will adapt - it is wonderful how adults adapt to 3 feet. In our village there are at least two dogs with 3 legs enjoying a wondeful life and long walks. What a happy ending! Ann |

You never fail to amaze me guys. Why cant we just form a community where everyone is so kind and supportive to people. I really am not a saint though people! I am doing this for me as much as for him (well, sort of). I just lay in bed hour after hour last night remembering his little face and how pretty he was, even if he was an ugly mutt, a little life like that is still precious. Its a terrible world, when you think little kids dont even get a chance to survive, isnt it. Anyway, Im very grateful, very very grateful for all your lovely kind words and support. I may need the support more in future! God bless you all. PS Have any of you seen that dog toy called 'Humungus tongue' It is so funny - I think I will have to get him one. It has a ball one end and a huge red tongue the other, so when the dog has the ball in his mouth .....well you get the idea. Also, I thought Id get him a little red spotted bandana for round his neck so he looks a bit raffish (or ralphish!). If youve got it, flaunt it. |

Heather I am so pleased for you. We all should have known you wouldn't be able to resist him. Love the idea of a bandanna one of the girls at our vets has one on one of her dogs and it looks so cute. (this was stray she picked up one rainy night on her way home.) I am sure you will all be very happy he will give you loads of love. Hope you get his little boot OK. All the best Germaine xx |

Ralphie, Bootsie, Pod - whatever you call him, I know he is going to be your faithful little friend for ever - you will love him and not notice his handicap after a while, hope you get him a boot to match his bandana and have any happy times together. |

Bless, the Irish firm is going to make a tiny little boot for him! Ive emailed the kennels for all the measurements. They are £18 a pair and the firm says they last a few months at least. Hubby looks very anxious about it all today - oh dear - pray for me guys! Will post a photo as soon as! |
