Anna - how on earth have you coped like that for 10 years? The pain must be agony sometimes - I remember when mine were impacted and normal pain killers didn't help at all. They would probably give you a general anaesthetic to get them out (they did me) and believe me it is definitely worth having done. It hurts a bit afterwards, but you know the pain will get better. I haven't had any bother with mine since. Kaye x |

Bec, when I had mine growing through I could only open my mouth a little bit. But if it's really very painful go check it out with the Dentist. If he/she's happy with it, at least you've done something about it. Good luck love, they're a real pain, aren't they. x |

Bec Wisdom teeth can be a problem, but you should really see a your dentist if you have a problem opening your mouth. Sometimes they can get infected when coming through. Have you tried warm salt water mouth washes? I would make an appointment sooner rather than later. Liz |

Bec I can't advise as I had some teeth removed BEFORE my wisdom teeth came through to make room, so when I did get my wisdom teeth they didn't cause me any bother. But my husband DID have to have 2 of his wisdom teeth taken out as they were growing sideways through his cheek. Please go and see your dentist. nell |

Hi Bec - I would go and see your Dentist right away. My top two wisdom teeth came through ok and didn't give me much pain at all, but my bottom two were empacted (stuck) and gave me hell - what you are experiencing sounds very similar. I ended up having all four of mine removed and it was one of the best things I ever did. Best to see your Dentist to be sure. Kaye x |

Mine were painful but didn't hurt quite that much Bec but everybody is different. Are you sure you haven't got an abcess? I think a trip to the dentist is in order just to get it checked out. Jeanette x |
