Bro and me did the test about 10 years ago. We both got 159. Getting the same as him really boosted my ego, cos when we were young, he used to ask me questions I couldn't answer, which made me feel thick. Mind you, he's 6 years older than me!!! We both joined Mensa, me in Winchester, he in the New Forest, and compared notes. We never joined for the second year. There's having a good IQ, and having a one-track mind! No matter how good the beer, discussing the merits of computers all night can become veeeerrrryy boring! The only good thing to come of it was that 9 years ago I decided to try to blag my way into University with 4 GCE's and 1 GCSE - and I got in!! Not helped my job prospects since though, bosses still think women of a 'certain age' have lost their brain cells, and I never mention my IQ, cos it seems to frighten them. maggie |

I did the test about 20 years ago and it was 146. On being invited to join mensa, for £25 p.a., I enquired what were the benefits. They replied that I could hob-nob with the likes of Clive Sinclair so I decided I could spend the money better elsewhere. I think it probably stands at about 46 these days.. len |

My percentile score in verbal intelligence was 99% and my percentile score in spatial intelligence was 98 % which I think roughly translated means a chopsy little beggar who is good at twisting things, pmsl. |
