My husband, a real stiff-upper-lip chap, blubbers whenever Jenny Agutter runs down that railway platform yelling 'Daddy! It's my Daddy'. The first film my mum took me to was Dumbo and I cried buckets when they took Dumbo's mum away. I was inconsolable and haven't been able to watch it since!!! nell

Dr Zhivago - Omar Sharif & Julie Christie. A tale of overwhelming love that could barely exist, let alone survive, set against the background of the Russian Revolution. If only he'd been able to get off that bus and meet her again at the end! CB >|<
