Depending on dates and other things... like hotel stopover.... will keep my eye on this and maybe join you... sounds a great idea to me!! Would it be tie and tails??? And a gown type thing? Anne :))) |

Thanks for your feedback everyone........ I'm thinking very Glam but not necessarily black tie as I know costs prohibit hiring etc.... I don't want anyone to feel like they have to spend a fortune to come.... cos lets be honest I'll need ya money on the night for some fundraising!! :O) |

no I didn't mean just a black tie Bob depending on the time of year, it might be a bit nippy for that lol I quite fancy the idea of dressing up for the night (don't get to do so often !), I know that cost is prohibitive though, so why not those that want to, do so, those that don't, don't ? |

One thing you might want to consider is selling each table en block if possible - that way if someone from here wants to bring a group of friends they could pay for a table of 12 in one go ? I've seen that done before. |

Paul - love that idea.... me thinks I'd have to do that as people won't wanna sit with complete strangers unless they had too! And yes black tie can be worn but the ticket won't specify it as a black tie do!! that fair? |

Sounds fair to me. If the consesnus is 'not black tie' then fair enough. I'm just still sulking because Sharon went to a posh do last month, spent a fortune on a dress, and I didn't even get to go :( |
