this had me in hysterics.... so pleased I taught her well.... her first night ut she had vodka and cokes and jack tried to blame me!! :O) Glad you're bringing some life into MK!! :O)

In spite of all your warnings and misgivings about her, so far she has been a little angel. The handover from Paul and Sharon went smoothly. No kicking and screaming. No tears. She had a little salad for tea, watched a bit of TV, got bored and nodded off in my armchair, so I had to sit on the settee next to the wife (she thought her luck had changed, but I soon put her right on that!). Put GB to bed around 9.00. She didn't stir all night. She woke at a reasonable hour, asked for porridge for breakfast. We hadn't any so she settled for honey on toast. Loved it. Took her out to help deliver Meals-on-Wheels. Good as gold she was. One bit of drama was around lunchtime when I caught her in the kitchen just about to tackle the cat's food! They're in the lounge right now playing together. Bless 'em. Talk to you later, folks. Brian, ;~O

Hmm Carol do not be fooled by her good behaviour, she was being good on Sunday so I sat her in the garden to watch the birds and bees and what did she do whilst my back was turned??? pulled the heads off of the flowers!!! so beware xxhugxx

Hmm getting a little concerned no update from Carol tonight, wonder what GB is up to now xxhugxx

Yes.....erm, birds and bees, yes Gaynor, well it's like this, erm.....you know when you had all those little baby bears, yes, there were quite a lot....how many? a hundred and fifty....no, ladies don't usually have that many....well you remember where they came from.....yes dear, that's right they came from there......yes, all of them....please pay attention.....stop doing that, there's a good girl! Well can you remember how they got there?.....you can't, well, perhaps we could ring auntie Lindy and she can explain better than me....why can't I tell you?, because I'm only a man, and men don't know about these things.... yes alright, that's a good idea, we'll ring her right now, shall we...............? (It's OK folks, I'm just practising my little chat with her when she visits me next week. Though why auntie Carol can't help me out I don't know. I get all the rotten jobs!)

Waiting with baited breathe to hear what state Gaynor arrives in at Carols in MK, just hoping that if she had a night on the tiles last night with Edward that she remembered to pick up all her clothes from the bedroom floor and put them back into her bag xxhugxx

Now I do have to admit GB takes after me, as far a Firemen are concerned. During the war!!!!! Must have been about 20yrs old, I went to a party at a Fire Station. I had such a fantastic time. All very true I can assure you. Not saying any more though. Lol. Jenny.

Looks like Gaynor Bears Mummy needs to come and give her a talking to. As soon as this Grandchild has arrived, I am going to try and get down and give her a real talking to. (Really, to get some of her larger belongings) I just don't know who she is taking after. Mind you, I don't really know who her Daddy is. I was rather silly last year and had a great shock when she arrived in April. My other children are not PINK. What a silly woman I was. Jenny x

I don't approve of slagging off other folk on these boards, but I must say Viv and I did think Gaynor was a bit of a 'good-time bear' when we met her. She certainly caught the eyes of several men around us. So will we be reading in the headlines tomorrow: bare bear bears all? I think she is just seeking attention, and needs a bear hug! nell
