Can anyone tell me what the 'XP' in the Windows operating system stands for? |

XP - An acronym for eXtreme Programming. It defines a process for agile software development. ;o) |

Wow!!! Thank you Judy. Please do go to the top of the class. I've previously asked countless 'experts' but to no avail. |

I am running W2000 and Outlook is reporting an 0x8004210A error (time-out) on my Freeserve account. I have a Virgin account which seems to be running normally. Outlook Express also seems OK. Could it be connected with the fact that I have Microsoft Update installed which seems to have downloaded Office XP SP3 and KB832668 V2 (XP Alternative User Input Update) updates, when these are XP items, not W2000? There does not seem to be an uninstall option for those updates. I have Panda Internet Security and I believe there may be an issue with that, but the fix involves editing the Registry. |

Can't answer that Brian. Only thought that I have is that if your Freeserve (Wanadoo) account hasn't been used for three months they terminate it. Hopefully Judy in the States will be able to pick up your query. |

I was hoping she might. Great lass! Non-use is not a problem - it gets used about every three hours. |
