Evening David, I haven't, but other half wrote to the Money section of a broadsheet, about the problems he'd had with the Nationwide! It was published, but it was very small, we almost had to look with a magnifying glass, lol. Speaking of banks, a man living nearby obviously has had mega problems with the HSBC. He drives round in an old hearse, emblazoned on the sides, back and front and roof are the words ' Liars, cheats, frauds, thieves, etc'. He often shops at Tescos and parks right outside the door, as you can imagine, everyone looks at his car, lol Sue

Course you don't mean my age Nelly - I'm one of the youngest on the boards. It's a bit frustrating when it doesn't get published isn't it cos you don't feel like you've had your say:( Rose, the columnist who I wrote to was Carole Malone and she didn't reply. Nooo I don't remember Reveille

For Last Rose...... I remember Reveille - I had a joke published in there in 1956 - typed it out when I was on duty one night and stuffed it in the post. Got 10/6d for it. Very nice - still got the covering letter in my files. Keith

Have written to the Telegraph once or twice - usually when they have made a c**k up of a military obituary. Last one was when they said someone had spent the war painting targets on aircraft. They didn't publish my letter but they published one from another man whose letter was better than mine. Ah me.
