We filled up the car last night at morrisons, today we tried to fill up our vans there and we were waved away and a notice pointed out to us said 'NO VANS OR HGV's' If the vans cannot get to the jobs with the building supplies and workmen then we have no work!!! Karen

there were no queues at our local at BP Nuthall Nottingham nr M1 J 26 but as i went in to pay said they would be out of fuel in half n hour. Just hope my tank full lasts so can get to my niece's party on sunday. Cheers n goodnight all Kaz

I dropped in at my local petrol station this morning and filled up my tank as usual. No queue, in fact only about half of the bays had customers. len

all our stations in tenby/saundersfoot area in pembrokeshire are saving all there petrol for the locals,cause we are a small communitity in the winter time they know who we all are some have run out completly now angie

most of um here are out of unleaded, they getting refilled but need to let it settle in tanks before they can sell anymore,

.....I'm running out of vodka actually..........Did you know that in the Dominican republic, they can run their scooters on the local moonshine?.....wonder if it works the other way round! Claire xx

Claire If you syphon it off remember to stop sucking when the petrol gets to the end of the hosepipe, unless you want to take up fire eating

Oh Dawn! Yes please! I can go shopping tomorrow then! ,o) If hubby's car gets home from the garage tomorrow I may have to get the garden hose out and syphon some of his (he owes me some anyhow as he has been using mine this week) Claire xx

Tesco, Asda, Morrisons, local BP and independant garage all within a couple of miles radius of me in Coventry have run out. :o( Unfortunately I didn't take it too seriously and rush to panic buy, so consequently I have now run out and hubby's car (the one with the full tank of course) has just broken down.........going nowhere tonight then. its a vicious circle really - as soon as people see a queue, they think there is a problem and join it, then others do the same and before you know it - SOLD OUT !

Tesco and esso both shut in falkirk...thats as far as I got, but expect problems as we are near Grangemouth xx

and u can bet your life when the poor tanker drivers do finally get onto the forecourt(after having to queue,oh the irony) they will be shouted at for not getting there sooner
