Hi Mike Glad you had a lovely holiday. I never thought of Ireland for a holiday but after your description I may have to try it. Chrissie p.s. Wondered what you meant about the print and then I remembered that I changed mine from med to larger |

Hi Mike, so glad you enjoyed your holiday - what good memories you will have to think about when it's cold and dark this winter, glad you had some laughs and nice that your mum was 'included' in your trip too, told you she would be with you all the way. Wonder what she thought of you all skinny dipping? lol! Liz |

Welcome back Mike, glad to see that you had a good time. One of the best holidays that we had was in Ireland. We stayed at a hotel in Dun Laoghaire for a few days, then traveled to Virginia, Cavan, to visit the town of my ancestors. The people are the most hospitable people that I have ever met. The general feeling is that you have stepped back in time 10 years or so, not just in Virginia but in Ireland as a whole. I can't wait until the next time we visit. Deb |

Hi Mike :-) Good to see you back really pleased you enjoyed yourself. I am also Pleased you didn't get stuck in Rosslare in that 2 star Hotel with all the Asylum Seekers :-) The name the 'Dingle' is so famous when people speak of Kerry they always visit there its World renowned for its beautiful beaches and lively entertainment, but now this fruitcake Eamon McGuiv (a relation to a another Nutcase Eamon DeValera) wants to give it its Irish name and get rid of the English version so it would be An Daingean for The Dingle. What is ridiculous is it isn't part of the area known as the Gaeltacht (Irish speaking area) anyway most places have names in Irish and English I am sure the Dingle will be still known everywhere. I did the ring of Kerry and went to lovely Dingle had a brill time with all the Music in Dingle as lots of The musicians spend nearly the whole summer there. Next time Mike I would recomemend The West around Westport area Mayo and Donegal, if you liked Kerry I am sure you will like the West just as much. Pat x |
