Kir is White wine and Créme de Cassis (Blackcurrent.) Kir Royale is with Champange. Kir is named after Canon Kir who was mayor of Dijon and became a bit of a celebrity for refusing to meet the Soviet leader, Kruschev during his visit to France. There is a large lake in Dijon called Lac Kir. Unfortunately it only containes water. Dave |

Nearly Right Rebs!! and Joan!! The answer is ONE - All of Englands Kings were Dukes or Princes etc when crowned with the exception of King James VI of Scotland who was crowned in 1603!! Need a drink after all that!! Cheers!! |
