I have always thought of Ready Brek as the poor relation! Porridge is very much 'in' as it is a low GI food which means that it keeps you full longer. I sometimes have it with any flavoured yougurt mmmm delicious. |

I like porridge better - milk moat and demerara - but I had Ready Break this morning 'cause the kids are refusing to eat it and it seems a shame to waste the pack. |

ooooh I love Ready Brek lol. Because of my sweet tooth I add a spoon of sugar before the milk even goes in, then it gets a sugar crust once its cooked. Its my comfort breakfast when I'm feeling poorly. Don't like proper porridge for the same reason I don't like rice pudding - all those slimy lumps urgh !! Maz. XX |

Germaine you've made my mouth water - steaming hot bowl of porridge with syrup on top .... yum! Ready brek is ok but I don't think it tastes like porridge and neither does that awful Oat So Simple stuff - it's vile! My porridge has to be made with milk alone (so I don't have it very often now) and has to be nice and thick! Jess - I remember eating the chocolate ready break as a kid and I think I tried the butterscotch too? Kaye x |
