he never attended the itv 50 years awards - ronnie corbett collected award on his behalf... Makes sense now.. R.I.P Ron - absolute comic visionary of your time.. |

I thought he may be ill ... as last week the other Ronnie collected an award on behalf of both of them ... and I thought it strange then. Wasn't watching properly, so please don't ask what award or what for ! RIP Ronnie ... you've made me laugh, many times. Elaine :-( |

Oh cripes He was presenting a 2 Ronnies special on tv a couple of months back, showing old clips. It was so sad to see him so frail God bless Ronnie and rest in peace. (and make the angels laugh on your way) Elaine x |

As I said on the Memories thread I loved Ronnie Barker I think he was a comedy genius. There will never be the likes of him again. Very sad day. RIP Ronnie Barker Comic Genius. Pat x |

So sad. I loved the Phantom Raspberry Blower of Old London Town sketches. I'd get my grandfather to mimic this every time I saw him LOL!! RIP Much happiness Debi |
