Lots of hugs and good wishes coming your way from me, Sandra. Take care love. Take it slowly and let your poor body get used to the dwindling a/d intake. It's amazing how it copes. x

hiya swiss and thanks, i take enapril for my bp. last year i had to be wired up for 24 hrs. with a bp machine. which went of every 30 mins. ahhhhhhhhhhhhh . they decided it was still high. so they upped my tablets. will let you know tomoz my bp. cos hubby is taking it after . This bp moniter was about £ 60, as my hubby works for our docs. they said bring it in and we will see if its spot on with ours. and it was, so i know its a good one. when i was put on bp meds my reading at the bottom was 77. which is very good, then i went on anti ds, and its never under 100. so i am between the devil and the deep blue sea, so i decided the anti ds had to go, easy said than done. but i will try and be strong. and it puts your spirits up when people like you ( a stranger. and all these on this thread) give comfort. wellllllllllllll you are all diamonds x

I have been on a/d for just over a year & the psychiatrist has recently warned me i may be on them for life. Please contact your doctor & see if they can't change your BP tablets instead to work with your a/d. Tracey -x-

Sandra, I'm on the same medication as you are, and I was warned when I first went on it that it could raise my bp - which it has, although not significantly. Has the doctor suggested another anti-depressant you could take which wouldn't have the same effect on your bp? Wishing you good luck. Ruby (((X)))
