Daniel Craig comes from Hoylake and his mother was a workmate of my now deceased father so yah boo sucks!! Our Friends in the North is one of the best dramas to have been produced in the last 10 years.It was a superb social portrait of the decades 1960's 1970's and 1980's showing how the country had changed,featuring the porn scandals in the flying squad,and the miners strike among other events,starrring Christopher Ecclestone,that Mcdowell chappie from kubricks Clockwork Orange,and other fine established northern actors.His latest part was the lead role in the film Layer Cake,done by the chap married to Madonna who was responsible for Lock,Stock and two smokin' Barrels. Oh,and he was in the Sylvia plath film recently(not sure but maybe as Ted Hughes-our past poet laureate)
