There will be 7 of us this year: the oldest will be my Mum and the youngest my second daughter, making an average age of 36.7 - lol it took me ages to work that out!!

Depends if my daughter arrives with her tribe. Older daughter usually goes away sonewhwere, like Crete, Thailand Gd Canaria, or Landsend. If no-one comes we'll probably go for a pic nic to Yalding, or somewhere, David

How do you get an average from one? I'll probably do the same as every other year, finish work around 2 ish, pick up my cling filmed dinner from the hotel kitchen, come home & heat it in the microwave. I could have dinner at the hotel but I would have to wait for restaurant staff to finish shift & they are all young enough to be my children anyway. lol Vivienne

my average is 21.6 at moment tiddler will be 3 10 days before christmas and oldest is 45. think its just the five of us, have extended the invitation but not been taken up yet

Average age on Christmas Day, either 42.5 or 35.5 depending if daughter, S-i-L and grandaughter come or not. Oldest - 89 year old M-i-L, youngest - 6 year old grandson. Boxing Day still oldest 89 and youngest 6, but average age will be 32.5 (there will be 23 of us!) Sue xx

Seeing as xmas is at a weekend I will be working on xmas eve and xmas day if I can get a 7am start so I can finish at 11am, well it is double time. Only 4 of us for xmas lunch. Eldest: 86 Youngest: 48 Yvonne

well, just me, Jon and our parents, so oldest = 77 youngest = 25 average is roughly 48, due to the folks knocking on a bit as Jon might put it. lol
