A huge church wedding in the old parish church in Weybridge. We knew so many people in the town that when we went from the church to the reception in the most luxurious viintage roller the whole of the main shopping street was lined with our friends clapping and waving. I felt like royalty!!!! Bev x |

In the Registry Office. It was arranged within a month and done on the cheap but the party afterwards was brilliant as me hubby and his friends and family were all in bands at the time. They all did a few songs and people were wandering into the club to see what was going on......so we had a few gatecrashers too..lol |

I got married in Church, in 1981. I found the whole thing absolutely nerve-racking, and I remember thinking afterwards that I would NEVER get divorced, because I could never go through all that again! |

catholic church in 1957, registrar came to the church as Catholic churches werent recognised by the state then, we were state married again in the vestry where we then signed the register. Backto our family home then for a sit down meal put on by my Mum. in front room , was hot day & charlton athletic were playing a home game, so when the crowds spilled out after the game passing our house,( the ground was just down the road) then we got lots of catcalls & guys coming to the open windows wanting to kiss the bride & drink our health. Was a fabulous family day followed by a knees up til late with music put on by my Uncle playing the joanna!! & records on the new record player. Shirley |

We married in the parish church in the grounds of Portchester Castle. It is a lovely setting, - Roman walls enclosing the Norman keep and Norman church, just yards from the sea. |

We had a Celtic Wedding ceremony at Hardraw Waterfall, which acted as a betrothal. A year later we had our legal wedding in the Spiritualist Church and baptised our son at the same time. Dianne xx |

In a drab little registry office in April and it rained and rained all day. 1/2 lager and stale butties in a pub. 7yrs later I divorced him because it rained all through the marriage lol. Second time again in a registry office but this time brilliant sunshine all day, big party in garden. 12 yrs later still with the man. Kay x. |

Snap with Joan! Stood on my dress too. Got married in Church. Always remember a scary moment standing at the door with my Dad. The vicar came out and said 'Do you know what you are going in to?'. Thoughts rushed through my mind 'Is he asking a deep psychological question, sh*t what do I say!'. All the time he was just asking what music we were walking in to!! Anna |

In a little building above a white beach at Kikambala, 40 minutes or so by road north of Mombasa, Kenya. The locals wove arches of palm leaves threaded with frangipani flowers and when we walked along the beach towards the reef after we'd taken our vows for photos, natives in full warrier dress with spears came up and congratulated us. Its our 11th anniversary on 26 October. Angela |
