For resort towns you can't beat Tenby. Aberdovey is quieter but still counts as a resort and is lovely. I won't mention my total favourite because it's very peaceful and quiet and we want to keep it that way! Gwynne |

I'd go with Gwynne's choices and add Pendine Sands (Carmarthenshire) and Bosherston cove (Pembrokeshire), both on the South Wales coast. |
