So sorry to hear about Minnie, Lynn. We have 5 cats, and each one has their own little personality. I know how you feel, as in 1997 we lost 3 cats, 2 of those avoidable. x

Sorry to hear that Lynne, It has happened to us as well, we had a two year old, she was killed on a nearby farm road by afarm lorry, so it isn't just main roads. Cats seem to have no road sense at all. ((((((hugs)))) ann Glos

I am really sorry to hear about your cat. I have had cats all my life and prior to this cat they all went outside. My thoughts are with you at this time. I know how you are feeling. I hope you or someone has helped you to bury your cat in your own garden where he probably enjoyed many happy days. Maybe you can put in a plant in his memory. Take care Fi

Oh no i am so sorry thats horrible. I don't what i would do if Nala was run over (one of the reasons she doesntgo out). Once when my sister in law was staying here she let her out by mistkae without even realising that she had done it. Luckily we live in a block of apartments so Nala had just run up a few flights of stairs and was hiding in a corner miaowing away scared. I was i tears that we had lost her because the main door downstairs had been left open so she could have got out then who knows if we would have found her or not. May Minnie rest in peace xx

Lynn so sorry ((((((HUGS)))))) for you, your kids and the chicken. The same thing happened to me and my kids at the beginning of this month. My daughter made a booklet about Angel (our kitten) using photo's that we had, pictures that looked like her and poems about cats off the internet. This seemed to help her as it gave her something to focus on. Juliexx

Sorry to hear about your cat Lynn, I've lost 2 cats to road accidents and know how you feel. We lost Sooty and Jasper (mother and son) within a few years of each other. Jasper lived for 8 years on a busy road and was run over a few months before we moved to a quieter road. My kids have been pestering me to get a new kitten for ages but I still can't bring myself to get one. Carolyn
