Thanks Lily - will tell her! She did stop for a while earlier this year when she had a heart attack, but is back now, although she dances less and chats more these days! I'm sure it has done a lot over the years to keep her fit and she certainly looks at least 10 years younger than she is! Maz. XX |

I just love Patsy - she is such a lovely person and I want her to do really well. Darren has been such a surprise though, he has really got into it and is doing so well. I expect Zoe or Colin will win, but would love it if at least one of my 2 faves is in the final! My mum is still dancing twice a week at the age of 82, we used to go to a lot of competitions and exhibitions, so I feel I know a little about what to look for. I think the standard from now on will be very high - they are all working soooo hard and I think it will be extremely difficult to choose between them this week. Maz. XX |

Would like a male celebrity to win for a change, but can't decide who I prefer out of Colin or Darren |

I have watched some of the fanzine progs this week, it has been very enlightening about 'dance' and what the judges (should) look for. Oh to be young and energetic once more! Lily (bit arthritic) |

I agree Alan, and it would be nice to have a male celebrity win for a change. Val |

Still watching, wouldn't miss it for anything. I am full of admiration for the amateur contestants. They are doing what I always would have loved to do but lacked the courage/confidence. I think the judges are sometimes unnecessarily harsh. They have a right to criticise but constructive criticism not sarcastic derogatory comments. Arlene Phillips makes it obvious that she has a 'down' on a contestant and no matter how well they do she never seems satisfied. I think she loses sight of the fact that they are indeed amateurs with a limited amount of time for practice as they still have their 'day jobs' - Bill Turnbull for example. Now he may niot be a second Fred Astaire but he has his presenters job, rehearsing for Children in Need and nursing a foot/leg which looks horrendous. Give him a break Arlene and stop being so bitchy. I applaud them all for their determination and dedication and for providing us with an enjoyable hour on a Saturday evening. Well done to them. |

Hi Lily I think it's a pity that there aren't 3 female judges on the panel. Colin obviously excited the lady judge last week as much as he did me:)) Chrissie x |

I am rooting for Colin and Erin as the others drop out...both have real 'style'. On a cold winter's night, this programme is just the ticket! Think I'll watch the cricketers on Weakest Link beforehand and Millionaire afterwards - still looking for someone I know on that prog! Lily (in frozen Cheshire) brrrrh...... |
