I don't approve of it. I'd prefer it if my taxes went to getting protection for the poor buggers who are living in the parts of the country where gun crime is rife. I'd rather pay money to save the lives of people like the teenage girl who was killed coming home from the Goose Fair or the jeweller who was murdered in her shop and the hundreds of others who have been gunned down going about their lives. Politicians and their partners have put themselves in a position - ordinary citizens haven't. Politicians have the power to change things where the rest of us have less. I'd rather MPs from all parties got off their arses and began to make the country safer rather than protect themselves.
