Excuse me.....but isnt this a bit ridiculous? What ever next? Im aware that it is only that particular area that is 'banning' them but please! Why do WE/OUR COUNTRY have to accomodate nearly every religion/race for fear of upsetting THEM? Isnt it about time they lived by our means and ways of life? Now, I know I am probably going to cause world war 3 for saying that, but I am absolutely fed up. I have said this a few times before - when in Rome do as the Romans do. There are many many countries in the world, that if you visit or live there, you HAVE to live by their religion/ways of life/rules. Here, it seems to be the complete opposite. Im all for multi -cultural living etc and have may relatives of different race and religion, but they have the same oppinion as me. This country is getting completely out of hand and needs to sort itself out - sharpish, or it wont be ours any more! Paul - A good comment and very appropriate. ;-S Vikki xx (moan over)

when i was small i well rember going into a haberdashery shop with my mother. she requested a reel of nigger brown cotton ( that was the name of the colour). The lady behind the couter informed her that it was no longer called to be called 'Nigger brown' and had been renamed 'Elephant brown' I remember mum puffing a bit and sayng ''show me an elephant the colour of a nigger...' This was in the early 60's.... who says this kind of thing is anything new ? jess x

Whats so smart about a board? One of the dullest inventions ever if you ask me! Are we still allowed to call people fro New Zealand 'Kiwi's' or is that offensive to green fruits and birds?

my son told me they got rid of blackboards because of the dust and worries over health. Not sure if thats true. In our schools they are called wipe boards. Vikki xx

Get them to write on a board Paul, the only thing a lot of them are any good at is gaffitti. As for losing the PIGGY banks, what else are the PC brigade going to do next, anyway who are this lot to tell us what to do, they dont have any official status, and if the people who come to this country dont like the way we live or do things, they can p--s off back where they came from. As a matter of fact we've still got my Daughter's GOLLYWOG and I'm certainly not going to get rid of it, may put it in the window!!!! The way things are going we, (The British[the indigenous variety]) wont have any traditions left, they'll all be PC'd out Len (very angry)
