I don't have a piggy bank either. I have a two ltr gin bottle that my lovely husband won in a raffle about fifteen years ago & it is half full of 1- 2- 5 & 10p pieces that I take to the Carnivals every year. All this PC business is getting out of hand. A while back someone put up a thread about the death of common sense & it is so true. Vivienne |

Piggy banks are being banned by Halifax and Nat West because they might upset their Muslim customers!!! In my opinion if that sector of the community don't want them then they won't have them - but nobody dare try and take my piggy away from me!!!!! |

I understand it is illegal to discriminate on the grounds of Religious beliefs. Therefore the Banks are acting illegally by banning something because of the religious beliefs of one persuasion. Whichever one it is. My Piggy Bank stays!!! Oh, Julie, mind you don't get cold. |
