I am in a suburb of Coventry. We have been to a friends party early on so I may have missed a few, but we haven't had any later than 8.00pm. We usually get about half a dozen of kids off the estate (most parents agree who the kids can go to before hand). They usually have all got parents with them. The oldest I've seen tonight were about 12. Doesn't bother me. I usually have a few treats on hand. I don't answer after 8.00pm but rarely get anyone after that. Claire xx

Bexleyheath is London suburb, bordering Kent. Busy town. We have had three lots of trick and treaters so far...a group of 3, a group of 2 and a group of 6. All had parents waiting at the end of our driveway. All were well behaved, polite and wonderfully dressed. My favourite being the littlest in the group of 6 who was dressed as a dragon. He said Trick or Treat in a very small voice a second or two after all the others...love him! I'd rather have these kids than the morons who are letting off fireworks everywhere. Dee x

Thank you for your replies so far. I do hope I can get some more feedback. We have still not had anyone at our door. I am quite willing to give to those younger children, who have a made a very good effort and have their parent(s) with them. I must admit I was bought up, not allowed to go begging. I was not allowed to 'go Penny for the Guy' and when 'Trick or Treat became the 'done thing' I had children of my own. I have in the past helped dress my children up to go to 'trick or treat parties in friends houses. So I am not adverse to it. Sorry the blinkin advert 'invizage' is again making it hard to see what I have typed. Going to get very annoyed now with GRrrrrrrrrrr Jenny. x

I live on a Council estate. I have had 2 lots of toddlers with their parents, 1 lot came at 6pm and then the next lot have just been at 7.30pm. They were all dressed up and looked really good, and they all said thank you when I gave them their sweets. Dont really get many on this estate unlike when I lived on a private estate it was horrific, no manners or anything, the kids round here on this estate have always been well mannered, and its a pleasure to given them their sweets. Hi Jenny We don't normally get any as, although we live near an estate to get to our farm the only way is down a dark unlit unmade road - so hopefully it will be a deterrent again this year..lol Besides the dogs are out and would start barking. (They are friendly really, but don't tell anyone..lol) Jxx

I live in a (nice) estate/suburb in Milton Keynes. So far we've had about 4 lots round, although there were a few more that came round but for some reason didn't knock at our doog. All dressed up, all polite, none were greedy, most had parents with them. Its started to rain now, so we may not get many more.

Modern village, semi-rural, one knock so far about half an hour ago - not answered. We have a 4 year old and a 7-as-of-yesterday-year old. Neither is allowed to trick or treat on principle. We do our own halloween thing - painted cardboard spiders and ghosts decorating the living room, creepy tea, pumpkin carving etc but no trick or treat. Angela

I have not had any so far tonight. I live on the edge of an estate, in an highly populated area. I would like to know when you had your first and your last tonight. If you do not mind, also what kind of area you live in. Estate, small village etc. Jenny x
