Jenny I once read 'A mother is only as happy as her saddest child'. Ain't that the truth! We spend our lives worrying about them. Hope your son improves soon and that you can stop worrying - until the next time! Commiserations Anna

Jenny - hope your lad's eyes are better and he starts to think about what he does to himself. They just kind of jump in to things without thinking of the aftereffects and no thought to the worry they give us - sounds like most of us who have boys have had some kind of worry. You take care of yourself too while you are running around after the family. Liz

Jenny, tell him to take it easy and do exactly as the doctors have told him. Surprisingly eyes are much stronger than we think, take it from me, I have 12 operations on mine. Hope he'll be out of pain soon. Hope you managed to get some rest. M.

Hope he is soon better Jenny. My lad though never bringing any trouble home was a walking disaster. Got knocked off his motor bike twice someone said he should get a car 3 weeks after getting a car it was in a farmers field, rode his sisters push bike for a while, came home from work one night yes he had been knocked of that, ended up sat on a Merc's bonnet and minor mishaps the list is endless. What is is about lads. I have always said they are more worry than girls. In our house they are. Germaine x

Jenny - these boys of ours.. Met up with my 23 year old today at the betting shop he manages, as he was cashing up. Haven't seen him for weeks as I have been away and he is always busy. He is sporting a Mohican haircut with a central 1' crest and then two shaved strips either side, then a smaller crest each side and then the rest shaved, with longish shortcut sideburns. Looked at from the wrong angle he looked like the devil standing there with two horns! I love him dearly but he is always full of different schemes and dreams - now wants to give up his job and start his own business, with hardly any money to back himself and thinks he will start earning immediately. I am not in a position to help him financially and his father doesn't keep in touch, he's abroad (foreign) and I worry so much that he will get into loads of debt. What would you do with them - they were less trouble as toddlers.

Trouble is he is 22 yrs old. Due for his second operation on his wrist at the end of the month. In pain with tooth. Been to the dentist today and has choose to have tooth out instead of Root canal treatment. ( Mind you dont blame him) But has to wait ten days for appointment to have the extraction. He was born on his Dad's Birthday. Suppose he could take after him, but sadly his Dad died when Son was only three. Just wish his Dad could send a message from Heaven, preferably a Bloody good Kick up the bum. Actually he is quite the opposite off his Dad. Sorry to sound off, but I really have had enough of his stupidity. Jenny x
