Watch out, or you'll end up like me. My students often get the giggles when I wave my hands round too much in lectures - I just can't get rid of the habit since being a Tchr of the Df! Have to try to remember to restrain them (the hands, not the students) LOL! Seriously - all the best of luck with it. You've got a major head start on most of us who learned to sign from scratch. And your Dad will be so proud of you and himself! Sue (in NZ)

Diana Well done and enjoy the course. I work with a teacher who is attending sign language courses, and she loves it. Good luck! Helen

Diana I did level one and passed that and then started level 2 but we moved so never carried on with it. Was good fun and my teacher and her family amazed me as both parents were deaf and one of their three children was. Really should try and get back into it, was thinking about trying to get into a special schoo to help. Will have to ask hubbys customers about it as a couple are deaf and I'm sure they will give me what info they can.

Pink that is a brilliant idea. my friends daughter is a sign language teacher, and uses it for her other job, don't know the title, but she mentors deaf children through mainstream eduction. when she got married, it was amazing to watch her interpreting the speaches for her deaf friends at the wedding. You do it Pink, listen to daddy, he knows best. Deanna X
