I think our police do a wonderful job and my heart goes out to the families of the two police women and I hope justice will be done Howardxx

I am very pleased to hear that arrests have been made. If they are, indeed the guilty ones I hope the Judge will give them the maximum punishment allowed by the Law. We always get hot under the collar when Capital Punishment is mentioned, and we have very different viewpoints. I trust we can either discuss it sensibly, or rather, save our judgement until we have more facts.

Hello everyone I am a copper They will need good forensics, the gun and witnesses maybe if hopefully anyone talks? Someone has said somethink to get them that quick and bring them in, it will be a bigger sentence for them because of the offence I just hope they don't let them out as they do for good behaviour, for a long time Some times it does make me angry, we deal with voilent people all the time and even then we have to fill out forms and remember what we did to the last! We also are dealing with the same poeple all the time, in and out of the mags courts. Now they are having the pubs open for longer, sometimes on a Saturday night we have to close custody and go to other stations yet we have over 20 cells!! I have been attack before, we are trained to combat people with knives but if someone has a gun you just have to pray! There is nothing you can do but get on the floor! I do not want to carry a side arm and our boys go through MONTHS of training before they get into that sort of work. Lets see what happens M

Peter ,I was meaning that if they are the people that did this then I hope they dont get off lightly like some people seem to do for the crimes they commit, and I am aware that they havent been charged with anything yet, maybe I phrased it wrong I dont know, but you were saying that you couldnt understand the meaning of this thread and I was just saying what i thought it was and asking you what you thought it was. 4 men and a woman were arrested in London about this shooting in Bradford. They are all being held at different police stations and being questioned. News on page 303 Teletext. Sue

here we go again ''hang them.!!''...........before they have been convicted.....??.........I remember, when the brazilian? chap was shot........there were at least a dozen postings saying ''well done!! got all he deserves''.....only later to be found completely innocent, okay arrest em lock em up till it can be proved one way or another!! and if guilty,..THEN we can hang em!!!
