Well - still no answers!! We think the police know more than they are letting on - they have become readily involved at a very early stage - they are now not anxious to gain access to her flat to look for clues or anything. This is leading us to believe she could be under some witness protection scheme or something - for the Police to be involved like this - they know enough to know they need to be involved - does that make sense?? A contact number in France was given to police as her father/next of kin - which they contacted but turns out this man has never heard of her. Another local number given as the Father - police contacted him to be told, no she's not my daughter, she's a friend of my daughter!! The Police didn't want a description, as they said they had a picture of her from the 15th !?!?!?! Forgot to mention last night - the phone message my friend got, was from a local solicitors. There is nothing in this that adds up at all - even tomorrow I don't think the solicitors are going to hold all the answers but merely a vague explanation.

Morning folks. Had to admit I was listening to everything a bit agog - thinking this is like something you see on a police tv fiction prog. The Police are with my friend at present, so hopefully there will be more news or answers soon. Keep you posted xx

Will do Lemon .......... Am baffled - no one can make sense of it!! Conversations about things with different people are all conflicting as well. No one knows what is fact or fiction in this situation. Flat was broken into a few weeks ago (secure entry thru 3 doors) - nothing stolen or trashed! All very odd!!

That is very odd!

My friend called on me some hours ago for my help/support. Her 'partner' has disappeared off the face of the earth since yesterday afternoon. My friend had a strange phone message y'day (from a local solicitors) saying it was about her partner - who would contact her asap - but in the meanwhile she should contact them on Monday and they will explain the situation to her. Police have been involved and said they are aware that partner has had lots of location changes and a few name changes - most recent being in the past few weeks. Employer also involved - who confirmed 'partner' had missed last of days calls and also had turned up at previous call no longer in uniform (care assistant).............. No sign at partners flat - no car - no lights - loads of post - neighbours have not seen or heard anything. Loads of things not adding up - like family background details etc Police have hinted at some kind of 'protection order' in place - but they are treating it as a missing persons case, and will probably break into flat tomorrow for clues. All very puzzling - my poor friend is distraught and confused - it's a total mystery !!!!!!!!
