Off to town today to buy wellies for our 10 year old boy ( ADULT size SEVEN !). And as were all the same size now...itll be handy lol ! I will have to buy some fur lined drawers as well......... Elaine x :o)) |

Glad you liked the gauge Trish, your chances change each day, so keep checking! Probably wont get any even though we have a 50% chance. But, then again it has been forecast that it will be the coldest winter since 1963 in the UK. well according to that site even WE are going to have some on Friday and Saturday - just upset my mum by telling her, she's now rushing out to get extra shopping in!! Also we have a 60% chance here of a white Xmas. Won't tell the kids any of this - don't want them to be disappointed if it follows last year and everyone in the entire country gets it EXCEPT US !! The Met Office predicys a 70% risk of heavy snow and blizzard disruption for Scotland, Northern England and East Anglia. A 40% chance for central England down to London and Kent, as well as Wales. A 20% chance for Cumbria, western counties and the south coast. And guess who's travelling from safe 20% to 40% this weekend??? |
