Hi Chrissie, I was typing the same time. It is a problem when you are being cautious then someone else gives the info out. defeats the whole thing but really think a private message requesting the info be deleted & to explain why should be ok, surely anyone that knows you would realise that you were not being rude & that you were just being careful as they should have been with your info. Sorry Pat, I've been having lunch and didn't see your reply:) I know I should have done - I'm a whimp:) I didn't want to upset them and I realised that they didn't think it mattered. After this morning I shall take more care. When this subject came up about a year ago, I went onto the photos page and deleted my album. It's so sad that we have to be so careful and I think that it is harder for those of us who are older and used to trust everybody. Chrissie x

Hi Chrissie Sorry to be so late answering. I look upon Genes as being like life itself it reflects what is happening around us in our everyday lives the changes in Society have made us all be more aware of peoples behaviour & the harm that can be done. In saying all that we can still enjoy ourselves having fun without over doing the caution to such an extent that we say nothing at all :-) Pat x

I saw that Paul, isn't it scary? I bet debt collection agencies will start using this site too. Jacquie

Several people have PMd me their names and addresses because we were investigating possible links. I do not and will not give out personal details (including email addresses) without permission. Lots of people who used to post on the 'Anyone from XXXshire?' threads in their real name, and I have often wondered how hard - or not - it would be to trace them.
