To be honest!!! I have made some real good friends on here, but i have just had a weeks holiday and, to be honest, i havent missed the site as much as i have missed the other sites!!!!! So....... I am not gonna renew.... so if you guys wanna keep in touch then please pm me you email addys!!! Thanks a lot!! Karen I dont go till the 21st tho lol!! |

I would miss it if i did not have it. Mine is due for renewal on 17th. I will be rejoining as i spend most of my time doing lookups on the Trying to find board. Great is'nt it. Spend money to help out others. Whatever you decide i am sure it will be the right decision for you. Regards. Alyson. |

Exactly what I'm always saying Lesley but it is a fact that there are certain members on here who do not like people having an opinion that differs from there's. Sometimes the person is only here a wet day yet they think they have more rights than longtime members .Its not on & they need to grow up. Pat x |

Do you JUST contribute or read the threads on this General board ? ..... or do you USE the site as a whole to help your own family research and/or help others. If its the latter, then obviously you have either completed your own research or don't help others ..... or you wouldn't be asking. If you are still actively doing research on your FT ... or you have the ability or resources to help others, then stay with us. If I just read or contributed to this General Board, then I would not renew. Simple ....... do you need this site ? you have a couple of months to think about it ! Elaine ;-) |

It depends What do you get out of this site ? do you use the site a lot ? do you just read the threads or add loads to threads etc ? do you need it for research ? do you need loads more look ups for your research ? do you enjoy coming onto the site ? do you need this site for anything ? You have to weight up the pros and cons first and then decided what you want to do that's is the question :-) |

It's obviously up to you Karen but why are you thinking about it so hard? either you don't want to be here anymore in which case you wouldn't be asking the question in the first place. Or you just want to read the boards & not contribute to them. I would rather have the option myself, oh by the way why are you wary about adding to threads? Pat x |

Sorry...... renew my membership on here!!! Maybe you are right Jean, i have thought about it and i guess its gonna be NO!! I would still read the message boards but as i am wary these days of adding to the threads then i guess it wouldnt be worth the cost!! Karen |
