Steph, if you feel really ill and cant breathe call an ambulance. My sister has had asthma for years and it can be dangerous if your oxygen levels drop too much. I dont want to scare you but if the inhaler isnt helping you obviously need more treatment. Sheila x |

To cut a long story short, I went to the Doctors on Wednesday to get help with my breathing.During the day, and night at times my throat closes up and I cant breth properly without the help of my boyfriends Asthma inhaler. My doc listened to my breathin and prescribed me an asthma pump only normally used during ‘attacks’ and booked me up for some ‘tests’ next Wednseday. I didn’t have any money to get the inhaler on Wednesday so had to wait till yesterday. I was up all night with breathing problems, then at about 9.00 it turned nasty and I was struggling to breath. So I got dressed, and a five minute walk took me fifteen minutes to get down to Boots. When I got there I asked for the inhaler asap, they could tell I couldn’t breath but still said no and that id have to wait. I sat down and as I started to black out I heard an old lady shout out that I was going Blue. The pharmacist casually walked over and handed me the pump I needed. It took about over ten ‘squirts’ for me to get my breath back. I have never been so scared in my life. I don’t even know if it was an Asthma attack as ive never suffered with it before. xxx |
