That's part of it David, I'll probably never grow it that long again now as I'm too old. Deanna - photo when Tom is in long enough to take it! Daisy |

That is a good hairdresser Daisy. The worst thing you can do is go from long to short, and it is always a good idea to cut in stages. You will look amazing whatever you do to your hair, and she is quite right.....next year is good! And the pictures are where??? Deanna XXX |

Hello Daisy, You are lucky to have such a good hairdresser. My daughter has just had her third cut and came back with her hair just a little bit shorter than the last time. I think it's a great idea because you get used to having less hair gradually. In any case, it's not good to go from long to really short hair in this cold weather. Brrrrrr. |

Hi Daisy I'm sure you look lovely and getting it cut in stages will probably be less of a shock and easier to get used to. |

Hairdresser wouldn't cut it all off so we compromised on 5 inches and a few layers to let the natural curl develop, so it's sitting on my shoulders now. She's going to cut it shorter in February if it's still what I want. Daisy |

Good Luck with it Daisy. I know BC is right!!! well she often is ;-))) I haven't had long hair since I was a teenager it never really suited me, I am glad as I am so lazy about my hair. As you say its only hair it will grow back if you prefer the way it was. I bet you don't go back. Pat x |

Go for it Daisy - it will grow again. I had shoulder length hair for some time, and as it is thin and fine my hair always looked lank after a few hours. A couple of years ago I started having my hair cut as a model at a training school so had a short bob, then started having the back graduated which makes it a bit more interesting and even easier to blow dry or leave and finger dry. It makes life so much simpler and also helps make my neck look a little longer. I once had a swan like neck but since I have put on weight all over, my neck has disappeared into my shoulders so a shorter haircut helps. I often have lowlights put in too, all for free, so can change my look often. Why not have your hair cut in stages and then you can dither in between till you decide how short you want to go. Good luck. |

I think you'll look gorgeous with short hair. A sleek, shiny bob would suit you and show off your lovely face! Go for it!!! (and show us the pics!) love becx |

What I really, really want to do is wake up in the morning with no rats-tails, dry it in under 30 minutes without the frizz and master the knack of putting it up or tying it up without looking as though I were doing the decorating and not expecting anyone to call. It's only hair, so if it all goes horribly wrong I'll just grow it again. Anyone want some pink hair straighteners? lol Daisy |
