Carol, We're having dinner at my parents house on Christmas Day and they're very traditional - it'll be turkey. They only have it twice a year though, Christmas and Easter ! Incidentally, whats the weather like tehre, my wife and I are coming to New York on Friday... Paul

Yes, Heather, I'm deadly serious ! Fortunately there are no rules (yet !) on what you are allowed to eat on Christmas Day.

I think if I lived in the States and had turkey at Thanksgiving I wouldn't have it at Christms. i am not over fond of it and never have it at chrstmas dinners out (at the golf club dinner I had salmon). I think it should be something a bit different, something you enjoy. Seafood lasagne sounds lovely Could we have the recipe please? Or is it not home made? Ann Glos

Toast under beans is quite nice. Doesn't take too much preparation and only one pan to clean.

That sounds lovely Carol, but my lot won't touch any shellfish or fish, so it's Turkey and cranberry sauce again! Merry Christmas Heather x

We are thinking of having poached salmon. Plus veggies, or roast beef. David

What is everyone else having for dinner Christmas Day? Personally, I couldn,t face another turkey so soon after our Thanksgiving and to be honest, why should I spend all of the day in the kitchen? We are having seafood lasagna with Prawn and crab cocktail to start and sherry trifle and/or Swarzwald torte for dessert. Am I being the odd one?
