hiya carol my friend, i dont know yet what we are haveing cos we are going to some friends(do you remember he once said to me , he would rather have an op without anasthetic, than listen to me all day lol),When i said we would go, i said dont go to much trouble for us, he said 'well bring your own then ' lol anyway we will have a good time , cos i feel it in my water x

my family dont like turkey so we always have my homemade steak pie. kate

Last year I was on my own so had Steak potato chips and garlic mushrooms MMMMMMM

Always have goose but absolutely miffed this year as friend got one from Lidls for £10 (free range) and mine will cost around £30. Will be haunting Lidls next years from November on! Ann

I have a huge whole leg of lamb from our local farm shop that i am very tempted to get out of the freezer!! Lamb is so expensive!!! The way things are going Lamb is gonna be a yearly treat!!! Eat whatever you want to and enjoy is what i say!! If you want beans on toast then have beans on toast!!!!! Karen

The Christmas I split from first husband, my daughter and I had sausage egg and chips followed by a GIANT chocolate gateau - well thats what we fancied so thats what we had . Tasted fantastic lol

There's only me and my hubby. We always have a breakfast - Scrambles eggs and smoked salmon. Then we pop next door for a drink while dinner is cooking. In a bit of a pickle this year - we have been invited to friends early evening and they are laying on food, so what do I do for Christmas dinner that's light? I know that we could skip breakfast, but we need to have something to soak up the early Christmas beverage. Lin

Hiya Carol, My lot hate turkey, so we have our own tradition, a mixture of South African with Portuguese. Shredded cabbage soup Baked creamed Cod Fish Roast Beef, Roast Pork, Roast Potatoes. 'Boere Beans' Sweet Carrots, Cauliflower au Gratin. Boiled Rice with lots of Gravy. Cheese Cake, Apple Pie, Milk Tart and Bread pudding.
