Bob, Youv've just reminded me! My actual first one was a Comodore 64? In the early 80's, put all my recipies on it, you didn't have monitors then it was the TV screen, you should have seen the mess in my lounge when I was baking, trailing back and forth from the kitchen to read the TV!! lol Kim

My daughter gave me an old one of hers, on which to do my family tree. It was an NEC laptop with a hard-disc capacity of 7.5 megabytes, not powerful enough to go online, but it whetted my appetite. So I bought me a Dell desk-top for my 75th birthday in 1998. Now on my second Dell. Len

We got an offer of someone elses as well Bryan lol. Paid £100 quid not bad although there was no sound. At the time we didn't have broadband and because it was a very slow computer it was costing a fortune so we bought a new one really fast with sound and then we got broadband lol. This is my third computer and my second dell. :-) Pat x
