God Bless Elaine lovely tribute to your mum, I have found it hard over the Christmas time and now as in Australia the tennis is on and my mother and I used to go to it every year .There is not a hour goes by that I don't want to tell her something or don't think of her she was my very best friend and I miss her so much Elsie Ellen Jane RIP 21/06/2005 love to all who miss their mothers and fathers too ((((( ))))) hugs Lara |

Elaine (((( Hugs )))) for you I lost my Mum 11 yrs ago to Alzheimers, unfortunately she is still alive (hope this doesn't offend anyone) it would be a happy release when she finally joins my Dad Julie xx |

I have lost my mum 5 1/2 yrs ago,but she is always with me so I hug her all the time. I know she won't mind me giving you one of her hugs today so this is from both of us.(((((hug))))) |

Lovely poem. Really sorry you lost your mum, couldn't bare to loose mine. We had a row a couple of days ago and reading your thread made me realise it doesn't matter who was right and who was wrong, what matters is that we still have eachother.. Thanks for all your kind words. It does get easier to bear although today brings back painful memories. I AM lucky to have had my mum for 14 - 1/2 years, some people never have that long. My friends lost her mum to MS when she was 8. I know of someones mum who died when he was three (sons friend) I searched for ages to find some nice poem to put, to no avail. Got fed up and did something else. Tried looking again and the poem was the one that came up. Its says everything I wanted to say. I hope it gives everyone comfort who reads it. Elaine x |

I lost my mum too, & although she lived to a good age I still miss her dreadfully. Big (((((((((hugs))))))))) for all you peeps without your mum, & for all those missing a loved one. Look after your mum as Elaine says, & tell her you love her. I'm so glad I told mine that every day. Joan xxxxxxx |

My mum was 64, very young in this day and age, she died in1983. I still gather 'bits' to tell her.....then I remember. Deanna X |
