hi all I am sorting out my late aunt's book collection (she was a librarian too Darth) and having a marvellous time dipping in to a weird mixture. Also reading the usual fantasy for fun, the odd crime/ psycho and various British history books. xx Jen

I have just finished a Linda Fairstein book, Likely to die, not as good as her first one, but still very readable, so i will be off to the library for her 3rd one later. Yvette

my 'local' library - 5 miles away - doesn't seem to do novels any more. Its great for info leaflets & all sorts of directories, and 'puters for when yours goes wonky (Not v PC of me but its in a fairly deprived area where lots of people dont have their own) I'm currently reading David Dippie Dixon's History of Coquetdale - written 1903 - about the area a lot of my rellies are from - and I did order it from the library, albeit the central one in Sheffield 15 miles away (near hubby's office). I'm also reading Bleak House, though have to admit so far I'm finding it hard going, loved the TV program.

I am reading `The Undomestic Goddess` by Sophie Kinsella but I am not enjoying it as much as her other books. I dont` really like to give up on a book so I will read it to the end. I have Jodi Picoult `Salem Falls` waiting so I will hurry up and finish this book asap. Love and Peace Marianne.x
