The only one I can admit to without getting this thread removed is 'Big D'. Some thing to do with being 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing around 21 stone. (Thats 294 pounds to our cousins across the pond). Derek |

Because of my surname at school was Pigeonsh*t not very nice but then it was either that or Duracell, coppertop to name just a few. Hubby calls me Tiger because of my temper and a lot of the family call me Dawnie which lengthens my name. Was also called tuppence by my dad. Hubby was called Ted by his parents as his dad worked in a mental hospital and they had a patient called ted who my hubby looked like! Eldest calls him Baldilocks and the three hairs. |

This will astound you, but my nickname is Little Nell! My dad gave it to be after a BBC production of The Old Curiosity Shop was on tv. My family call me Nell and folk on these boards do - there are lots of Helens on this site! I had a sort-of boyfriend when I was at college who called me Bubbles, because he said I was effervescent, which I think is a polite way of saying p*ssed! At work I got called Hell-Vixen too. I liked all of these. If someone calls me a name I don't like, I don't answer. nell |

I had several nicknames in the past - most of them very uncomplimentary. I'm not saying what they were, but one had something to do with a horse. I was called Cher by lots of people, especially younger girls at school, because I looked like her before she had the surgery. CB >|< |
