Princess - sometimes we were served it as pudding with our school dinners. We called it 'Frogspawn' ( or was that Tapioca?)

a bag/packet of, or a tin of? Love all those old fashioned puddings- i'm a put- it - in - and - swallow person (chewing too much effort!) semolina / rice / tapioca / sago love them all!!

Alice was a packet of but not the instant stuff is made with milk. Mind you when I was expecting my first used to sit with a tin of it on my desk eating it, boss thought I was mad.

Now I remember semolina - great sprinkled with cinnamon. The Viennese make a soup dumpling with semolina they call it 'Grisnockerlsuppe' - magic.

this is the most agusting thread I have ever seen...only thing you didn't say was marzipan and Beetroot....yuch......just typing a report for the abuse team XX This thread needs a goverment health warning

Lemon Beetroot yum yum but not the pickled ones boiled as a very, not too keen on marzipan though so you can keep that.
