Deanna - We are ancient ! You, Me. Harry Hayes. Poirot, Doc Doolittle Paul and perhaps many more - all remembering comics from the thirties and forties, the previous century !! Which means we have all been using our bus passes for at least ten years but as someone said, they were happy days and we all swapped which is probably why the Doc has a loft full and will probably never sell them even though they are worth a small fortune ! |

I started off on Twinkle and then went on to Jackie for a while and then in came My Guy and Oh Boy.They used to have a photo story of 'real life' problems which usually involved two-timing boyfriends or unrequited love....Ahhhhhhh wasn't life so difficult then! |

Alice, We LOVED Look In! Was that the one that came about once a month - and it had that fantastic kids' TV series called Timeslip about a girl called Liz/Beth (depending on which time she was in ) and a boy - it was the first time I'd ever heard of clones! Yes Christine - I did say I was heading for bed a while back, but as usual, got slightly sidetracked! Night all! Sue (in NZ) |

The Beano, The Dandy and Girl. I remember Girl as it was a much bigger comic than the others and was printed on glossy paper. Beryl x |
