why Paul? if they are prepared to defend Queen and country why does their sexuality matter - maybe it is homophobiocs that shouldnt be allowed to sign up??

Paul how is being in combat any more dangerous for a gay man/woman than a straight one?

why not Paul?? I dont see why gays and lesbians cant chose what profession they want to be in the same as everyone else can personally....maybe the army and such like still have more oldfashioned views on the subject which is a shame

wasn't potential blackmail the reason gay people didn't used to be allowed in the forces? as that's no longer an issue don't see why not?

havent got anything aginst them per se but i still think they shouldnt be allowed in the army. for their own protection as much as anything else. just my opinion.

i dont mean in a friendly way jill.i mean i get hugs from them all the time, i had a gay friend that tried to con vince me was was gay in a secret way and got very touchy feeilyand i did not appretiate that in anyway at all.

Not wanting to be cheeky Sam, but what makes you think they would fancy you? And lets not forget it is a civil partnership, not a marriage.

a girl I went to school with is gay, as is my brother and my hairdresser and it wouldnt bother me in the slightest if they were to find someone to marry - in fact I'd be delighted if they were all in a loving couple and all happy! Would be offended if they didnt touch me in some way. Obviously my hairdresser does anyway, but my brother and my friend always get hugs etc

i have gay friends male and female, their lovely!! I dont have a problem with it at all, their just couples like any other:-))

the frist gay marriage off two army personnel .......(lesbions) wot does everyone make off this same sex marriages. personnally i dont mind gay people,i have a few lesbion friends that are really nice girls and i.ve made it clear to them that i dont swing that way so touch my and we are no longer friends. wot are other peoples thoughts on this.......
