I have to have a large on, and keep it reasonably empty. it contains the usual purse, mobile and 'bits'. the reason it has to be so large ( and ths adds a whole new dimension to 'Hand' bag) is this: my partner is an upperlimb amputee. he has a prosthesis which is very heavy and gets uncomfortable.When this happens, he takes the hand 'bit' off , because you cant take the whole thing off without underessing him, and, well, it has to go somewhere!! There, If i'd have said 'a hand' you'd have thought i was being sarky!! Jess x

Saw a funny sketch, at a drama club, the other day Steedie. Man was making fun of the amount of stuff women have in their handbags. Well he started taking things out of all his pockets,(inside and out) there was cash, keys,sweets,golf tees,tyre gauge,handkerchief,comb,out of date tickets etc. Then from his wallet notes,cards and more cards, unbelievable how much they hold. He put everything on a table and we (and all the men in the room) laughed because there was probably the same amount of stuff in the end.Hard to believe i know, and men have laughed at us for years lol it was all done in fun and he was so funny.
