19th March, 2006 My dear mother in law survived her cancer operation but suffered a fatal heart attack this morning. I have known her for 42 years and despite my marriage to her son ending in 1975, she and I have remained good friends through thick and thin throughout the years. I will truly miss her. May she rest in peace Anna |

Afternoon all Well we have got a house full again for a week. As Davids 3 are here for a weeks holiday, seeing Vic are having their holidays now and not at Easter time. Tony I.ve emailed you about the Lotto. Lara, I hope you start feeling better soon. As for the pics on ASL site I have also had problems getting albums to stay there. I think I have had 3 disappear, not just the photos, but the whole album. I sent Rebs an email and I do hope she comes back .............. Cause you know what this means with no Rebs on here?????????? I think I'm now the baby of the group Booooo Hooooo. Come Back Rebs :-(((((((((( |

Hi there wattlers, Hope those of you feeling ill are now better and those who are well are dangerous. Lew, the suite is great, that's what I need, a complete change and bringing up to date. Well, I can dream. I am having a very lazy day today, it's great. Where is Mary and Laurie. I am missing the travel documentaries. They must be having so much fun they have forgotten all about us. I am proud to be Australian. Our athletes are doing so well. It's hard to keep track of them all. I hope the track and field do well, although I don't think it is such a popular sport in Australia. Lara I have just read and contributed to the thread for Rebs. What a popular girl our rebs is. There must be some way we can get her back. To everyone, have a great day, Love SuzyQ |

Hi Wattlers The place seems a little less bright without our Rebs. I have emailed her but as yet, no answer. Had a response from a hot match....yaaayyyy! And what a response! I now have more info on my hubby's paternal gt grandmother. My god didn't people back then have a lot of kids?? This info alone, has been worth the membership to GR. I am a very excited person now....yayyyy:o) Tony....have sent you a pm about the lotto. Hope your mum is getting better each day. Possums in the roof...noisy, smelly, little critters. If you can't catch them try Arnotts BBQ shapes.....they luv 'em ha ha. Happy hunting :o) Lara..... you sound a little under the weather. I hope it is only a passing phase and that you'll be sparking on all fours again soon. Don't let the worry about Rebs get to you. She is a big girl and will be ok. Lew Lew....VERY NICE lounge. I am impressed! So versitile and it looks soooo comfy too. You did good, girl <<<<clap>>>>> SuzyQ........you seem a lot brighter....good to hear you are getting on top of things. When you're low there is only one way to go..............that's UP. To all the rest of the Wonderful Waffling Wattlers (too numerous to mention individually)......... a big hug and a happy wave. I'm off to add some dead people to our tree. See y'all later. luv Pharaoh Trifley Queen of The Nile |

Dad might haffta help cough up $1,800 for Barb's car service.....:>(( Everytime i open me wallet me plastic card says......O'h no!!...not you again.....lol If anyone is interested, there is a way we could have a Ozzie lotto pool. Someone ( cant remember who ) suggested it on the first Wattle thread. It can be done ( without exchanging $$ ) to buy the ticket, so if you are interested, email me, and i will put a letter to-gether explaining how it could work. And of course, only if we get enough interested. Tony Oz..:>)) |

Gooooooood Morning, good morning....:>)) Nice day in Melb. ( so far ) Lawn mowers are out and about, as people go about there daily chores. The leaves from some of our gigantic Oak trees in the street are starting to fall. Autumm is here. Nice to see the Cats ( Geelong ) get up last night ( no offence meant Gwenda and Chris )..:>))...hee hee Julie cat. The T.A.B what we call here, is the Totalizer Agency Board..better known as our Horse racing betting agency. My eldest girl is a section manager for the pokies and a publican, and has just completed her studies and recieved her licence to become a server, and work behind the counter, where peeps place there bets. Very good wages for doing this kind of work, and also completed her 'Bingo' licence ( for Bingo clubs ) in Australia. Legs 11....lol Good to see our Ozzie girls in the pool last night do a clean sweep, with 5 gold medals out of 5 on offer. Well.....must go check out me tattslotto numbers, to see if i am a millionare..so i can take me Ozzie mates on GR to the U.K...:>)) Then have to go fix up a few things in Barbs Hair dressing Salon, as the bloody possums have eaten there way through the cavity in the walls....and have made one hell of a mess o/night...........then i can go play with me dead.....:>)) Av'e a good one. Tony Oz..:>)) |

Good Morning well it it's a nice day weather wise anyway, I have copied and pasted all the threads to Reb and all the pm's I have received too, and Wattle Club as well so I guess now it's up to her what she does next she did tell me if any of you want to email her to give you her email addie and she will definatly still organise the q/land meet up so if you want it just email me ok Shazz I did not take our photos off surnames of the meet up or rebs photo so don't know why or who did I was only joking when I said I'd take her photo off there as she didn't want it on in the first place I couldn't believe it when you said it was gone so went into look and not only Rebs photo gone but all of the mee,t up too perhaps they have a policy of removing them after so long . I havn't asked Reb if she is still coming to Yarrawonga but will ask her this afternoon when I call her. Tony hope your Mum is still improving and getting back to her feisty self. Tell your daughter (not sure which one) congratulations too good on her be able to get more money too now she is so qualified in all aspects of the hotel business maybe dad could buy a pub for her lol Anna good to hear your mil is on the mend too give her a gentle hug from us too .Not fair at her age to have to deal with the big C as well as old age too. hello to all on here that I havn't mentioned and have a nice day going to take a book and read in the sunshine not feeling too good today bye for now love to all Lara |

Lew It's divine - so smart but so versatile. Great choice. And you did the right thing getting suede. For years I had dreamed of having a leather Moran suite and I eventually saved up and bought it. I find the leather too hot even though I was assured that leather 'breathed' and was cool in summer and warm in winter. Dining suite sounds great also. We will inspect them at the Mudgee meet up! All right, I've let you suffer long enough. Now what you need to do is go to the website www(.)kingfurniture(.)com(.)au (obviously remove the brackets) Go to 'Gallery' then 'Jasper'. The fabric is a suede called 'Storm' which is a deep gray with just a hint of blue and we also purchased the low square coffee table. But, while we were there, we spotted a beautiful Italian glass dining table with extensions at either end that slide in under the table. And we bought 8 gorgeous chairs in a suede called 'Bayleaf'. Stunning. Hubby's credit card is reeling, but nothing is too good for my upcoming Mudgee Meet. And Rebs bloody well better be there, even if I have to drive to Qld to get her (only 10 hours from Mudgee!!!). Now back to reality. Having friends over for a bbq dinner tonight, so I have to clean the villa today. Where's that bloody cleaner when I need him!. Tony, pleased to hear your mum is doing so well. Love to you all. Lew Lew (I'm very naughty and must send self to the Corner. I gave Rebs my username and password, heeee, heeee, Crewella) |

Hi everyone What can we do to get Rebs back. Lara - are you going to copy and paste the thread you posted and send it to Rebs - maybe she'll realise how much she is valued and say 'Up your nose with a rubber hose' to the small minded minority who get their knickers in a twist over a bit of fun. I'll join the 'Kick butt Brigade' with you Lew. Pleeeeeease tell us about your new furniture so that we can all drool. I've been watching the games tonight - aren't the Aussies doing well in so many events. Ozzie, ozzie, ozzie - oi, oi, oi!!!! Glad to see you back Suzy Q - have missed your friendly face. And Patricia - nice to see you pop in. Hi Laurie wherever you are - you'll have to get back here and organise Rebs to come to the Qld meet. When are you coming to Qld? We are all waiting for your reply. MIL is out of intensive care and they have her up walking around - obviously she is in a lot of discomfort as she had half of her stomach removed poor pet. However the surgeon is fairly confident that he got it all but we are still wating on path results. Talk to you all tomorrow. Anna XX |

Hi everyone me again lol Shazz no not a psychologist lol. The acces course is a bit of this and a bit of that. When I go on to do the access to higher education in September I'll be doing the humanities side which will probably be English lit, classical civilisation and history/theology depends on class numbers as to what's available. After that I would like to go on ot uni and do an English lit/history combined degree. After that who knows haven't decided yet lol. So we're still doing well in the pool, can't you tell I don't watch sport pmsl. Have to go and do some of that dreaded H word, yuk :-( *waves* Juliexx |
