21 today, 21 today, Happy Birthday Shazz. It would have been my Mum's 88th birthday today. Anna, so sorry to hear about your ex MIL. Such a shame that she had the op, makes you wonder doesn't it. Lara poem was lovely, I have copied it. Lew, wonderful holiday on the canals. I would like to do that in France. Did you see the Rick Stein programme in France? Larry has done a lot of damage. I hope that eeryone is okay. It appears that everything is in place for a speedy clean up. Not like New Orleans. Now there is another one building around Fiji. Lets hope it keeps away. Been watching the games again. Yes the marathon was exciting. Today I have enjoyed the men's and women' s 20k walk. If we aren't careful we will be accused of cheating. But don't you feel proud. I do hope rebs comes back. Now am I mistaken ( not much of a footie fan ), did the mighty Qld Lions beat Collingwood? Do I go to the naughty corner now? Hello all Wattlers, Beeeeeuuuuuutiful weather here in Albury this weekend, hope all the peeps up north are safe this morning when the cyclone does it's thing. I had a little chat to Vonny Sunday afternoon, she wanted me to let you know that she's definately got 'pooter withdrawral symptoms and will be back as soon as poss. We didn't get to meet in person because of schedules, but hopefully will meet in Yarrawonga. Even tho' it was gorgeous weather yesterday I was pooped and had a nanny nap in the afternoon and an early night, I'm still tired today so have to be good to myself this week and get enough sleep!! Afternoon All Shazz Happy Birthday, hope you have a good one. Sounds bad up top end of Queensland. My Mum and Dad are going up that way at the end of May, They are going to Airlie Beach, Cairns, Hayman Island to name a few places the back to Melb for long weekend in June so they can get to watch a couple of football matches. Dad goes for those blue boys and Mum goes for everyone, She is the only person I know who can watch a football match on TV, while having a radio up to her ear listening to a different match. She also will be adding her 2 bob worth about the matches, you just have to work out to what match she is singing out about. She might say kick the Bloody ball, so you look at the TV and the Umpire is holding it PMSL., it is definately entertaining being at their place when the footy is on. Well only on here brieflly as with the extras here I have to share the puta :-((( Catch you all later Sue

Sorry Lew - you snuck in under me. Take back all I said about the hangover! Thanks for your kind thoughts. Have some friends who are going canalling in England in a few months' time - will let you know how they fared. They are going with another couple and the boat they are going on is quite big - en suites etc - so sounds very civilised. And you get to see parts of the country that you never would otherwise. Brother in law's parents live at Cardwell so have loaded their caravan and headed for the hills. Just hope there is something left when they get back. Lara, can you send me a pm with Reb's email please - shall get in touch with the rebellious one. Tony - hope your Mum is doing OK. Gwenda - Ive had my cold for 2 weeks and it still hasn't gone completely. Such a nuisance and leaves you feeling drained of energy. Wonder if Princess Lew of the BBQ has surfaced yet today? No doubt a few toasts were raised to the new furniture, the new house, the commonwealth games and let's face it - who needs an excuse to raise a toast! Good morning All and another sunny day here in Mudgee. Will you Queenslanders please stop hogging the rain and send it south!!! But on a serious note, hope everyone up there is safe and well. Hubby did a wonderful barbie for our friends last night. Chillie and Garlic Prawns to die for. Yummy. We watched a DVD about canalling through the UK, as we are thinking of doing this in the next couple of years. It looked like great fun and a wonderful way to see the country, very relaxing. I'm going to give Rebs a ring during the week and will report back to you all. Anna, again my condolences re your MIL. Tassie, yes I think you're the baby. I'm a 1961 child. Joodles this is where all my winter friends and I go halfway between Tully and Innisfail Mission Beach and Kurrimine Beach I do hope they are all ok up there there may not be any caravan park left to go to, the way they are saying its going to be worse than the one in the USA , to your question no Wattlers live up that far but I have rellies thru GR up in Townsville so will send them email too and hope they are ok too sent you email re Rebs Joodles with her email addie so as you can email her l talk again later on love Lara

Morning all. Gosh its dark at 6.00am these days! Guess we are well and truly due for daylight saving to finish. (Another 11 days). I have just been looking at some pics of the Manchester Meet - lovely pics of Honey Rum - none of our Laurie. Laurie had been invited to go, but it would seem apparently couldnt make it.
